Stylish Cheshire garden makeover

WILLASTON

This beautiful family home in Willaston was blessed with bags of outside space, but it's tired patio and planting did little to reflect it's owners' contemporary style. A complete overhaul was undertaken and the results are absolutely stunning! Rendered raised beds frame a large sawn and honed Indian stone patio. The new fencing, log store and low maintenance planting scheme completes the garden. It certainly is a stylish and usable space ready for entertaining.

Tumbled block paved driveway

TARPORLEY

The owners' of this Tarporley home lived for far too long with a small and dangerously uneven car parking space. The whole area was cleared, excavated and levelled. A beautiful tumbled block was installed and the drive way is now framed with a contrasting grey block edge. It has transformed the appearance of the house and given its owners a functional, useable, attractive drive.

Kerbside appeal - New block paved drive

UPTON

The original block paving and gravel driveway at this Upton property had seen better days. Full of weeds and dated in colour, it was an un-inspiring area which really let the house down. Once cleared and dug out, drainage was installed and the entire area then paved with charcoal grey block. The drive now not only looks great, it is more functional and easier to maintain.

Small secluded cottage garden

UPTON

The garden of this Upton new-build home was a blank canvas filled with builders rubble and clay. After excavating and improving the soil, a semi-formal design was created. Structural elements of a pergola, new fencing and topiary perfectly balance a rambling stone path flanked with flowering shrubs and perennials. The result is a peaceful and colourful haven for the home owners to enjoy year round.

Garden makeover

HANDBRIDGE

The owners of this suburban home were living with a garden unsuitable for their busy family. Slippery decking, a central pond and unlevel ground rendered the space unusable. After much demolition and groundworks, the garden has been transformed. The children now have open lawn and fresh garden beds to dig.. while mum and dad enjoy relaxing on the patio.

Contemporary landscape in rural Cheshire

MOULDSWORTH

Our brief for this project was to create sleek, usable family space.. ideal for entertaining and soaking up those stunning countryside views. After much preparation and groundwork, the outside space has been transformed. Large expanses of Indian sandstone give plenty of space for outdoor dining, the installation of oak sleepers link the house and garden and a large lawn is the perfect playground for the resident toddler.

Sleek outdoor entertaining space

LITTLE SUTTON

Sadly this overgrown back garden in Little Sutton had seen better days. Cluttered and chaotic, it was a far cry from the sleek entertaining space that its owner dreamed of.

As the site was sloping, tiers were created and the ground retained with sleepers. A huge outdoor room was constructed with an added undercover area providing cosy seating. From the new lawn, steps now lead down to a stunning sawn and honed patio which gives the garden real wow factor. All framed with contemporary baton fencing, this garden is now a beautiful place to entertain.

Low maintenance Chester garden makeover

CURZON PARK

We love nothing more than creating full garden transformations for our customers and this project had it all! The entire site was taken back to a blank canvas. From there, we installed drainage, replaced fencing, created two beautiful curved Indian stone patios, constructed raised sleeper beds, lay a lush artificial lawn, added an all-important storage shed, built a timber framed pergola and finished off by planting pleached trees to give our clients privacy. A total garden makeover and huge transformation!

Tropical themed outdoor living

HOOLE

This busy family required a low maintenance, multifunctional outside space. Its uses were to include outdoor entertaining, a kids playground, and also offer a place to relax and soak up the rays throughout summer. The design is simple; charcoal limestone patios at each end of the garden framed with dense planting of hardy tropicals and a quick drying artificial lawn. New timber sleepers provided a subtle step down to the lawn which offered a clean and soft surface for the kids to play. New fencing, painted in dark grey, tied in the muted colour palette and emphasised the lush green foliage planted alongside.

Driveway extension in the Welsh countryside

ROSSETT

Bordering lovely open fields, this cottage was blessed with views but not enough room to park the car. With some simple excavation, a small retaining sleeper wall and open stock fencing, the owners now have a usable driveway area with a clear view to the space beyond.
